Windows & Sliding Glass Doors:
- Conduct water test to help determine source of water leakage
- Caulk and seal to help reduce drafts and leakages
- Check hardware to ensure pieces are tightened and not stripped
- Check rollers for proper sliding
- Remove operable sashes and clean window tracks
- Clean and lubricate balances and tracks with silicone spray
- Glass: Check for seal failure and address condensation
Electrical, Mechanical, Sprinkler, Stairwell, Trash Room and Common Area Doors:
- Caulk and seal to help reduce drafts and leakages
- Check and adjust speed and latch on closers
- Check doors for alignment; adjust if rubbing or not closing properly
- Check weather stripping
- Check hardware to ensure pieces are tightened and not stripped
- Replace hinges, locks, pins and screws
- Check thresholds for stability; shim and caulk where needed
Siding & Roofs:
- Conduct water test to determine source of leakage
- Check for any vulnerable areas, soft spots, or rot
- Check for loose or missing siding pieces or shingles
